Traditional Music and Art in Vietnam

Nowadays, the traditional Vietnamese music and theater is not popular to the urban kids as it used to be because poor qulity of the children's program. Acoarding to the article, theatre director Hoang Duan, head of the HCM City Theatre's performance office, says music and theater are a part of the human spirit. He says "human cannot grow without a knowledge of and love for the arts." Ho Van Thanh, art director of the HCM City Circus Theatre, agrees that "Through music and theatre, young people will be able to learn about the world, people, and culture." Furthermore, he says it is difficult to make a show for children. The directors have not enough costs to provide beautiful customes, lights, and effects. Since the year 2000, the government increases support in music and dance for children's cultural activities. The government, likewise, added the traditional music and theatre to the secondary school curriculum. Read more infomationhttp://vietnamnews.vnagency.com.vn/Life-Style/Theatre/200302/Traditional-music-arts-loses-traction-.html . I think it is a good idea to preserve the traditional culture. It will last eternally to the new generations.

Transportation in Vietnam

Geographic location of Vietnam infleunces on the developement of the country, transport and communication systems. I read this article from the http://vietnambusiness.asia/vietnam-transportation. The nunber one high way in Vietnam is the main economic road which connects 6 economic zone out of 7. It starts from Huu Nghi border gate to Nam Can. Lately, the investment constructs and upgrades the high way such as Lang Son, Hai Van road tunnel, My Thuan Bridge. The second main road, furthermore, is Ho Chi Minh City route, which parallel to the first road. It anticipates to develope the western area. Vietnames road systems also links to China, Loas and Cambodia. In my opinion, more roads equal to better transportations. It enchances the economic and it indicates country itself too.

Natural Gas and Fule in Vietnam

I had read news about a natural gas or fule, which operate in Ho chi min City. It mainly talks about the decision that is not decide yet.In May and afterwards , two public transports buses will continue to operate. After the gas suppliers retreat a decision to stop providing because the losses. If the buses are not provided enough, Petro Vietnam Southern Gas JSC (PV Gas South) planned to stop supply the gas from the middle of July. One of the operators in CNG buses seek a subvention from the city People's Committee to invest more CNG buses. It costs approximately $106,000. The Deputy director of the Department of Transport,Duong Hong Thanh, says the city People's Committee give some allowance to the Sai Gon Passenger Transport Company, but the government has not make a decision yet. A gas station was built in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province by PV Gas South. It can supply 50 buses a day. At the end, Doan Van Nhuom says "Our company loses money if it transports the gas from Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province to the city just to supply two buses," In my opinion, nowadays, gases are getting more expensive. It costs more for buses eventhough the government tries to help by giving some money to bring down the prices of the gas. Advertised Itself Before the Enrollment

I read the new about the vocational school is trying hard to motivate someone to register into their school. Vocational school advertised itself a couple of months before the enrollment. Some schools offer to reduce the tuition fee and have a working place for students after graduate. The difficulty in enroll students to vocational school because the number of the students who apply to the university increase every year. Generally, most of the students are not interested in vocational school. In contrast, accounting, hotel management, and media easily grab more attention from the students. The schools have lack of equipments and machines. Therefore, it is a second choice for students who can not pass the entrance exam. The equipments cost one billion dong while tuition fee is five million dong per student. If vocational school raises tuition fee, they will not be able to apply. Government support, otherwise, is limited. The HCM Department for Labor will do a survey to get some information about which majors are needed and inform tot the school. So, they can get a proper training program. In my point of view, the ways people think have no different between here, Thailand, and Vietnam. Thai people, in addition, think vocational schools are the last opportunity. There is a difficulty to find work after graduated. Likewise, it earns a small amount of money. I personally understand that the equipments, machines, and the salaries are expensive compare to the income. Tuition in Vietnam

I read news about the education in Vietnam. It is about the government, who is trying to increase the tuition fee. Nguyen Thinh Thanh, the Chief Secretariat of the Hanoi People’s Committee, confirmed that the government adjusts tuition fee at owned nursery and general school. It effects on 1st of July afterwards. He accumulates thoughts from other organization and individual on tuition growth. They think the plan need to be revision. He says the government’s value is essential to assess both the submitting date and the tuition. The People’s Committee, otherwise, believes it is not needful to summit the plan to enlarge the tuition free. The representatives from the Culture Society committee of Hanoi People’s Council strongly agree that the tuition should increase by 1.5-2. On the other hand, Government thinks that the tuition must not be higher than five percent of the person income. So, there are 3 tuition rates for urban areas and the other two for rural areas. I think it has both advantages and disadvantages in increasing the tuition fee. It may effect on some people. But, it is fair for poor family. The poverties that they face are already delicate and hurt them. If the government still raises the tuition fee, it totally wicked. Bicycle Competition

I read the article about bicycle ridding competition. It is about
Vietnamese, who won the 1st place in the competition. Tran Thi Thu Xuan of An Giang Sports College won the third place in a bicycle ridding competition. She won with an hour and forty-five minutes for 89 miles with an average speed of 34.807km. She was followed by Nguyen Thuy Dung of Binh Duong Environment and Stephankaya Natalya of Kazakhstan. In 2005,
she won 49 points for a green jersey. She got a yellow jersey after she got the highest point in the tour
nament for several times, which was 8:08:27, followed by Stephankaya and Doan Thi Thu of Domesco Dong Thap. Next stage is the longest section and more challenging. It covers 115km from 115k
m from Soc Trang to Ca Mau City. if you want to know more information http://english.vietnamnet.vn/sports/201007/Trang-wins-another-stage-at-Open-922273/.
In my opinion, it is a sport that need a lot of endure. Not everyone will success in this kind of job easily.
